Chris Newmarch McIps

Chris Newmarch MCIPs has a strong background in procurement and buying, with extensive experience in packaging and third-party manufacturing. Most recently, they served as Procurement Category Lead for Packaging at Müller UK & Ireland since June 2022. Prior to that, they were the Senior European Procurement Manager for Packaging & 3rd Party Manufacturing at PZ Cussons from September 2019 to June 2022. Chris also held the role of Senior European Procurement Manager for Packaging at PZ Cussons from August 2018 to September 2019.

Before joining PZ Cussons, Chris worked at Princes Limited, where they served as the Senior Buying Manager for Oils & Fats from May 2014 to July 2018, and as a Senior Packaging Buyer from July 2012 to May 2014.

Chris's earlier career includes roles at Unilever, where they were the European Procurement Manager for Packaging from October 2007 to July 2012. Chris also worked as an Operations Manager for Third-Party Contracts in the Laundry Category from June 2004 to September 2007, and as a Supply Chain Planner from March 2003 to May 2004.

Chris began their career as a Purchasing Executive at United Biscuits in September 2001, where they worked until February 2003.

- From 2019 to 2020, Chris attended ARC BLUE and studied a "Structured Approach to Strategic Purchasing."

- In 2019, they also attended ICIS for a course on "Petrochemicals: An in-depth introduction."

- Chris obtained their MCIPS qualification from NEIL FULLER & ASSOCIATES between 2005 and 2009.

- They received a degree in Environmental Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University, studying from 1996 to 2000.

- Their secondary education took place at Mosslands School from 1989 to 1996.
