David Handley

David Handley has over two decades of experience in automation and engineering within the food production industry. Currently serving as an Automation Engineer at Müller UK & Ireland Group since July 1999, David is responsible for automating processes related to yoghurt, fruit, butter, and associated services. David has also held roles as Process Engineering CI Coordinator, focusing on continuous improvement and plant efficiency, and Engineering Team Leader, managing a team to minimize downtime. Prior to Müller, David worked as a Maintenance Technician at DENSO and as an Electrician at Erleybrook Electrical Contractors, where David completed an electrical apprenticeship and earned the title of Shropshire Apprentice of the Year in 1991. Educational qualifications include ILM Leading Professionally Parts 1 and 2 and a GCSE from Grove School Market Drayton.
