Peter Shinton

Peter Shinton, M-Eng, MCIPS, currently serves as the Procurement Governance & Compliance Manager for Müller UK & Ireland since October 2015, leading governance initiatives and implementing SAP Ariba across the UK. Previously, Peter held the role of Procurement Process & Systems Manager at Müller, managing the integration of Dairy Crest procurement processes during a significant acquisition. With extensive experience in procurement management, Peter has also worked as a Programme Manager at Lafarge Tarmac, overseeing a joint venture, and has held various procurement and project management positions at Tarmac and National Services Scotland, focusing on process improvement and cost reduction. Peter's professional background includes roles in account and commodity management at Visteon and an early engineering placement at Special Products Lemforder, complemented by a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brunel University of London.
