Sam Plant

Sam Plant has extensive work experience in various legal and leadership roles. Sam currently serves as the Legal Director for Müller UK & Ireland, overseeing legal operations for the dairy brand and its sister business. Prior to this, Sam held the position of General Counsel and Group Legal Counsel at Princes Limited. Sam also served as the Corporate Services Director and Company Secretary at PZ Cussons, where they played a key role in the strategic direction of the company. Sam has a strong background in the legal field, having served as the Company Secretary and Head of Legal Services at API Group plc. Sam began their legal career as a Solicitor at Cartwrights Solicitors and Cameron Markby Hewitt. Sam has also contributed to the University of Salford as a Member of Council and Chairman of the Governance, Nominations and Ethics Committee. Throughout their career, Sam has demonstrated expertise in governance, compliance, and strategic decision-making.

Sam Plant attended the Judd School in Tonbridge from 1980 to 1987. Following this, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Bristol between 1987 and 1990. Sam then attended Nottingham Law School from 1990 to 1991, where they pursued a Law Society Finals degree.
