Svenja Büttner

Svenja Bolz is a medical advisor at Ethypharm since July 2024, specializing in CNS conditions such as addiction, pain, and epilepsy, while also managing medical advisory compliance and project support. Prior to this role, Svenja served as a postdoctoral researcher at the Leibniz-Forschungsinstitut für Molekulare Pharmakologie from July 2018 to June 2024, focusing on key mechanisms for hippocampal preservation and regeneration using advanced molecular and microscopy techniques. Experience includes research assistant positions at the University of Melbourne and Washington University in St. Louis, as well as roles at the Max Delbrück Center and Charité, all centered on protein misfolding and neurodegenerative diseases. Svenja holds a Doctor of Science from Freie Universität Berlin, a Master of Science from the University of Potsdam, and a Bachelor of Science from the same institution.
