Hoy Ping Chew

Hoy Ping Chew has extensive experience in corporate governance, currently serving as a non-executive director at Mulpha International Bhd since 2007, with a recent redesignation to non-independent status in June 2023. Chew also holds a board member position at Mudajaya Corporation Berhad since January 2015, where Chew chairs the Audit Committee. Previously, Chew was the independent non-executive chairman at Ge-Shen Corporation Berhad from May 2017 to May 2023 and an independent non-executive director at Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Berhad from May 2014 to April 2023, also chairing the Audit Committee there. Prior professional experience includes a notable tenure as Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers Malaysia from May 1976 to March 2005, specializing in corporate finance, business recovery and restructuring, and audit and accounting. Chew is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
