Grethe Bergly is the current Chief Executive Officer at Multiconsult. Prior to this position, Grethe served as the Department head of project management at Multiconsult from September 2002 to April 2010. In this role, Grethe was responsible for a team of project managers and engineers, and they oversaw the development and implementation of projects in the field of building and construction.
From 2010 to 2012, Grethe was a member of the board at Norplan AS, a Norwegian engineering firm. During their time at Norplan, Grethe was responsible for the development and implementation of engineering projects in Norway and Tanzania.
In 2013, Grethe became a member of the board at Multiconsult Asia Plt LTD, where they oversaw the development of projects in the Asia-Pacific region. Grethe held this position until 2017.
Grethe has also been involved in several research projects in the field of building and construction. In 2010, they were a member of the steering committee for the VALPRO Research project, which was a European Union-funded project investigating the use of new materials in construction. From 2007 to 2008, they were a member of the steering committee for a Byggforsk research project investigating the use of prefabricated concrete elements in construction.
Grethe Bergly graduated from The University of Manchester with a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Structural Engineering. Grethe then went on to obtain their MBA from Heriot-Watt University in the field of Master of Business Administration. Finally, Grethe Bergly completed an Advanced Management Program at INSEAD in the area of Leadreship and management.
