Vishal Dantal

Vishal Dantal is a Seniorrådgiver Geoteknisk at Multiconsult, with a comprehensive background in geotechnical engineering within the offshore oil and gas industry. Previously held positions include Principal Engineer at Equinor and various roles at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute, culminating as Senior Engineer. Vishal's early career involved research and teaching at Texas A&M University, where contributions included a significant project on Mechanically Stabilized Earth Walls. Additional experience encompasses summer internships focusing on soil-pipe interactions and foundation observations, and a design engineering role addressing railway bridge pier calculations at Gammon India Ltd. Vishal holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Texas A&M University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
