Jonathan Clay

Jonathan Clay has over 17 years of experience in government and public affairs, currently serving as the Government & Public Affairs Manager at Multifamily NW since October 2006. In this role, Jonathan advocates for equitable housing policies at various government levels and collaborates with diverse stakeholders. Previous positions include Communications Specialist, Legislative Analyst, and Membership/Event Marketing Liaison, each contributing to Jonathan's expertise in policy communication, legislative research, and member engagement. Earlier experience includes serving as a Transportation Options Associate at Metro Regional Government and a Downtown Portland Sidewalk Ambassador. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science, Spanish, and Geography from Portland State University and completed a year abroad in Spanish Language and Literature at Universidad de Sevilla.
