Jon Shamir

Jon Shamir has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as a UX Engineer at Sightful since October 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Computer Graphics TA at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from September 2019 to April 2022. Before that, Jon was a Freelance Web Developer from January 2018 to January 2021. Jon also worked as a Senior Web Developer at Dragonera from July 2016 to September 2018 and as a Web Developer at mobli from March 2015 to June 2016. Jon's career began at Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200, where they held a role from December 2010 to June 2014. Concurrently, they also worked as a Web + Mobile Developer & Designer at Amberlight Apps from 2010 to 2014.

Jon Shamir completed their high school education at Leyada from 2007 to 2010. Jon then attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. After that, they pursued further education at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design from 2019 to 2021, earning another Bachelor's degree in Design and Visual Communications.
