Cristina Balagué

Cristina Balagué currently serves as Chief Scientific Officer at Oncostellae and Director of Biology at MEDIBIOFARMA SL, while also holding positions as Drug Discovery Advisor and Head of Disease Biology at Multiomic Health since June 2021. Additional roles include being a Mentor at EIT Health's Mentor and Coaching Network and an Advisor to BioExpert Network. With extensive experience, Cristina was previously the Head of Program Strategy/New Programs in Dermatology at Almirall, leading teams in drug discovery and strategy management. Academic contributions include serving as Research Assistant Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and Senior Research Associate at Baxter Healthcare, where innovative gene therapy vectors were developed. Cristina holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
