Manuel Mayr

Manuel Mayr is a distinguished cardiovascular proteomics expert currently serving as a Professor of Cardiovascular Proteomics at Imperial College London since September 2023. Previously, Mayr held the position of British Heart Foundation Chair for Cardiovascular Proteomics at King’s College London from July 2006 to August 2023, where Mayr contributed significantly to the King’s British Heart Foundation Centre of Research Excellence. Mayr's academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from St George's, University of London, and an MD in Medicine from Medizinische Universität Innsbruck.
