Frank Lenaers

Frank Lenaers began their work experience in 1992 as a System Integration Group Consultant at Unisys. Frank then worked at Belgacom, starting in 1994, holding various roles such as Network Engineer, Network Security Expert, Security Experts Manager, and Security Applications Manager. In 2006, Frank joined Telindus Belgacom ICT as a Security Change Manager for a brief period before moving to bpost, where they took on roles as Information Security, Risk & Compliance Officer, Team Manager ICT Security & Risk, and ICT Security Officer. From 2014 to 2020, Frank worked at NMBS-SNCB, serving as Information Risk Manager, Information Security, Risk & Service Continuity Manager, and IT Risk & Service Continuity Manager. Currently, they are the Chief Information Security Officer at Multipharma, starting in 2021.

Frank Lenaers has a diverse education history. Frank completed their Postgraduate degree in Business-Oriented Computer Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Brussel from 1991 to 1992. Prior to that, they pursued a Lic. degree in Applied Economics from the same university, which they completed between 1987 and 1991. Before entering university, Frank completed a Graduate program in Computer Sciences and System-analysis at Industriële Hogeschool from 1985 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a CISSP certification from ISC² in 2006.
