Jigar S Patel, MD FAMIA, is the Senior Vice President and Chief Medical and Product Officer at Claritev, having transitioned to this role in 2025 after extensive experience at Cerner/Oracle since 2007. Patel's career began with demonstrating healthcare solutions to clients, contributing to substantial revenue generation, and progressively taking on executive positions such as Chief Medical Officer across various organizational divisions. With a strong focus on leveraging electronic health records and data analytics to enhance clinical outcomes, Patel has championed numerous Physician Programs aimed at serving the medical community. Prior roles include Assistant Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center and a fellowship in Transfusion Medicine at the American Red Cross. Patel holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and an MD from Case Western Reserve University.
