Karen Dietz, JD, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Karen currently serves as the Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel at the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF), where they oversee general counsel responsibilities and leads complex data and technology transactions. In their previous role as General Counsel at MMRF, they were responsible for strategic business collaboration, contract negotiation, compliance, and problem-solving. Notably, they led the negotiation of an agreement for a multi-arm clinical trial and played a key role in a research study involving genomic testing for multiple myeloma patients. Karen also has experience as an In-House Counsel at MMRF, where they worked from 2009 to 2019.
Alongside their role at MMRF, Karen is a Board Member of the Western Connecticut State University Alumni Association Inc. Karen Dietz, JD, MBA has an extensive education history. Karen attended Western Connecticut State University from 1996 to 2000 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Justice and Law Administration. Karen then went on to attend Immaculate High School from 1992 to 1996.
Karen furthered their education by attending Western New England University. From 2003 to 2006, they earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree from the School of Law. During the same period, they also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Western New England University.
In 2014, Karen attended the German Language School of Connecticut and studied German Language and Literature for four years, completing their studies in 2018.
