National Design Lead - Defence at Multiplex

Suds Hettiarachchi has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. They started their career at Volkswagen AG as a Development Engineer, where they conducted research and provided analysis on the Australasian markets. They then worked at Ford Motor Company as a Test Engineer, where they tested various vehicle components for durability. Later, Suds worked at Telstra as a Program Manager, responsible for end-to-end project management of infrastructure projects. They also had a long tenure at Tennis Australia as the Corporate Client Team Leader during the AO Event. Suds then joined Aurecon, holding positions such as Senior Design Manager, National Defence Design Leader, and Defence Practice Leader WA & NT. Currently, Suds is the National Design Lead - Defence at Multiplex. They were also a Committee Member at White Owl for Men's Health Awareness.

Suds Hettiarachchi completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from Deakin University in 2010-2011. Previously, Suds obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Deakin University in 2003-2007. Suds also holds additional certifications including Certified Practising Project Director (CPPD) from the Australian Institute of Project Management AIPM, and Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) from Engineers Australia.
