Roman Oravec

Roman Oravec has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Roman is currently the Chief Regulatory Officer at Glycanostics, Ltd., a start-up company focused on cancer diagnostics. Prior to that, they held the same position at MultiplexDX International.

Roman has also worked as a Freelance Consultant for Stryker Nexplant AG, Trauma & Extremities, where they specialized in risk management. Roman has experience as a Quality Manager and Medical/Technical Writer at LaNova Consulting, as well as a Clinical Research Specialist and company owner at Mgr. Roman Oravec, s.r.o.

Roman has also worked as the Operation Director at CCCT SK Coordinating Centre, where they managed and coordinated activities. Roman has also worked as a Clinical Research Specialist, freelancer for various clinical research sponsors, including EastHORN Clinical Services and CATO Israel.

Earlier in their career, Roman worked as a Senior Clinical Research Associate for PPD Slovak Republic and as a Clinical Research Associate for AstraZeneca. Roman started their professional journey as an EU regulation specialist at the Central Controlling and Testing Institute in Agriculture, Bratislava, Slovakia.

Roman Oravec attended Commenius University Bratislava from 1995 to 2001, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.
