Jose Manuel Prieto-Romero has extensive experience in the mental health field, serving as the Lead Mental Health Residential Counselor at Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare since August 2011 and as the Lead Mental Health Counselor at Northwest Human Services, Inc. since August 1992. Additionally, Jose holds a position as a Bilingual Correctional Counselor with the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office since June 1986. Prior experience includes working as a Case Manager III for the State of Oregon from November 1991 to June 2005. Jose Manuel Prieto-Romero earned two Bachelor's degrees in Sociology and Political Science from Southern Oregon University between 1976 and 1980 and has studied Industrial Relations/Business Administration at the University of Guanajuato in Mexico.
