Taya Brown

Taya Brown is an experienced attorney currently serving at Multnomah Defenders Inc. since November 2017, following a position as a Judicial Law Clerk with the Oregon Judicial Department from February 2014 to November 2017. Taya gained practical experience as a Certified Law Student in the Misdemeanors section at Metropolitan Public Defenders, where two bench trials and three jury trials were successfully conducted. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from Lewis & Clark Law School, obtained between 2010 and 2013, and a Bachelor’s degree from Kenyon College, completed in 2004. Additionally, Taya has held roles as a law clerk in a family law firm and as an intern supporting death penalty defense and legal clinics, as well as working previously as a business analyst with PSS World Medical and in self-employment.
