Reiko Williams

Reiko Williams is an accomplished education leader currently serving as the Director of Regional Equity Initiatives and Partnerships at Multnomah Education Service District (MESD) since July 2021. Prior roles include serving as Principal at Portland Public Schools from July 2016 to July 2021, Assistant Principal at Rosa Parks Elementary School from July 2013 to June 2016, and Manager of Family and Community Engagement at Portland Public Schools from December 2008 to June 2013. Reiko began a career in social work as a Social Worker at Casey Family Programs from December 1997 to October 2001 before transitioning to education as the Associate Director for Diversity at Portland State University from October 2001 to December 2008. In terms of education, Reiko holds a Doctor of Arts degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Portland State University, alongside an Ed.D. in Gifted Education and Black Student School Success, and a Master of Social Work in Child Welfare from Howard University, with an early foundation in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
