Greyard Tembo

Greyard Tembo has a diverse work experience in the field of education and training. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Training Officer at LiSTC Limited until 2004. In 2004, they joined Kabwe Institute of Technology as a Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering and held this role until 2018. During this time, from 2011 to 2018, they also worked as a Part-Time Lecturer in Mathematics at Kwame Nkrumah University. In 2018, they became a Lecturer in Electrical Engineering at Northern Technical College, but this position lasted only from April to August of the same year. Since August 2018, Greyard Tembo has been working as a Lecturer at Mulungushi University, where they were recently appointed as Acting Head of the Department of Engineering in February 2022.

Greyard Tembo's education history is as follows:

From 2014 to 2017, Greyard attended Tianjin University, where they studied Electrical Engineering.

Prior to that, from 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Technical Teachers' Diploma at the University of Zambia, focusing on Technical Education.

From 2006 to 2011, Greyard obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Tianjin University in China.

In 2012, they also received a Training of Trainers Certificate in Entrepreneurship Education and Training from the Technical and Vocational Teachers' College (TVTC) in Zambia.

In addition, Greyard has completed various certifications and training programs. In 2010, they obtained an Advanced Certificate in Modern Industrial Control Systems from the Engineering Training Center in China. Greyard also received a Certificate of Completion in Basics of Control Components from Siemens Industry, Inc. that same year.

Furthermore, in 2010, Greyard earned an Occupational Qualification Certificate - Senior Skill level in Automation Engineering from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security in China.

In 2009, they completed a Certificate of Completion in Basics of PLCs from Siemens Industry, Inc. Greyard also holds a Certificate in Chinese Proficiency from The State Commission of the Chinese Proficiency Test in Beijing, China, which they obtained in 2009.

Prior to their tertiary education, Greyard earned an Advanced Certificate in Digital Technology from Nakawa Vocational Training Institute in Uganda in 2005. Greyard also pursued an Advanced Certificate in Purchasing and Supply Management from the University of Zambia in 2004.

Furthermore, Greyard holds various certificates related to education and training. These include a Certificate in Curriculum Development for Institutional Curriculum Developers from the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA) in Zambia in 2003, as well as Certificates in Teaching Materials Production and Teaching Methodology from the Technical and Vocational Teachers' College (TVTC) in Zambia in 2003 and 2002, respectively.

Lastly, in 2002, Greyard obtained a Certificate in Procurement Procedures from the Zambia Institute of Management. Greyard also holds a Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the City and Guilds of London Institute, earned in 2001.
