Ayat S. is an experienced engineer specializing in building intelligence and artificial intelligence applications within electrical and computer engineering. Currently serving as an Engineer at Mulvey & Banani and a Lead Career Mentor at MentoRack since July 2024, Ayat contributes to the development of an AI-powered mentorship portal for foreign-trained professionals and local graduates in Canada. Additionally, Ayat is a Technical Committee Member at CSA Group, focusing on intelligent building systems code development, and has held the role of Director of Communications at the Society of Women Engineers Toronto. Previous positions include Technical Services Specialist at Salex Inc. and various engineering roles at Ryerson University, CECI Canada Ltd, Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, and the Ministry of Electricity. Ayat holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Artificial Intelligence from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Salahaddin University-Erbil.
