Araks Martirosyan

Araks Martirosyan has a diverse work experience starting from their most recent role as a Senior Scientist and Bioinformatician at Muna Therapeutics, which began in November 2022. Previously, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at VIB from February 2017 to December 2022. In 2016, they held the position of Research Fellow at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" for the entire year. Prior to that, from November 2012 to October 2015, Araks served as a Research Fellow at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche. They also worked as a Research Fellow at Ecole Polytechnique from March 2012 to August 2012. Their earliest role was as a Junior Software Developer at be2, where they worked from August 2010 to September 2011.

Araks Martirosyan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biophysics, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology from Sapienza Università di Roma. Araks completed their PhD from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from CY Cergy Paris Université, where they studied from 2011 to 2012. Araks Martirosyan's education history began with a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Yerevan State University, which they attained from 2006 to 2010.
