Basem Ahmed

Basem Ahmed has extensive work experience in various managerial roles. Most recently, they are the Founder, Managing Partner, and CEO of Munch Hut Deli & Store since September 2020. Prior to this, Basem served as the General Manager of Mellow Mushroom from September 2019 to September 2020. Basem also held the position of General Manager and Catering Director at Simply Falafel from September 2018 to September 2019. Basem has further experience as a General Manager in the food and hospitality industry, including positions at Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, GPS Hospitality, Fuzzy's Taco Shop, and Lazy Shopper Convenience Store and Deli. Additionally, they have previous experience as a General Manager at Pharaohs Trucking and Storage and Marsa Alam Scuba Diving. Basem's career started as an English, Italian, and Arabic Interpreter at the Italian Consulate.

Basem Ahmed obtained a Diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician from Don Bosco Technical Institute, which they attended from 1998 to 2001. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Hospitality & Tourism Management from Florida Atlantic University and ServSafe Food Handler from the National Restaurant Association.
