Brad Derome is the current Chief Financial Officer for MUNCIE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS. Brad has over 25 years of experience in finance and accounting. Brad began their career at Teledyne Portland Forge where they worked for four years before moving to The Red Wing Company. After five years at The Red Wing Company, they spent a year at NAAS Foods before joining CTS Corporation. Brad spent 11 years at CTS Corporation, including eight years as the Vice President of Finance. Brad then left CTS Corporation to become the Director of Finance for the State of Indiana. After two years in that role, they became the Chief Financial Officer for Jay School Corp, a position they held for six years. In 2020, they became the CFO for MUNCIE COMMUNITY SCHOOLS.
Brad Derome has a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Ball State University in the field of finance. Brad also has a Bachelor's degree from Ball State University in accounting. Brad Derome attended Jay County High School in Portland IN.
They work with Matt O'Bannon - Director, Transportation, Auxillio, Paul Dytmire - Director, Facilities, and Heidi White - Director, Elementary Education. Brad Derome reports to LeeAnn Kwiatkowski, CEO & Director, Public Education.

Muncie Community Schools (MCS) has delivered education and shaped the Muncie community since 1855. With 350 teachers at nine schools – six elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school – MCS annually educates approximately 5,000 students and manages other educational facilities benefitting children and adults throughout East Central Indiana.
