Muncie Community Schools
Sarah Reason is an experienced educator currently serving as a 4th/5th Grade High Ability Teacher and ELP Gifted Education Teacher at Muncie Community Schools since 2016, providing specialized instruction for gifted and high ability students. Prior roles include long-term substitute teaching in a fifth grade gifted classroom and student teaching in a 2nd/3rd grade split classroom, as well as experience in special education. Sarah also works as a Nursery Attendant at New Life Presbyterian Church, managing volunteers and caring for young children. Additional experience includes front desk operations at Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities, camp counseling at Camp Tecumseh YMCA, student teaching internship at MSD Wayne Township, supported living assistance at Hopewell Center, and mentoring honors freshmen at Ball State University. Sarah holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education from Ball State University.
