Leona Houghton

Leona Houghton currently serves as the Vice President of Global Safety (Ex-US) at Mundipharma since February 2021. Prior to this role, Leona worked at Jazz Pharmaceuticals from February 2016 to November 2020, where responsibilities included Senior Director and Director positions focused on Global Pharmacovigilance Quality & Compliance. Earlier experience includes serving as the European Medical Compliance Lead at Otsuka Pharmaceutical Europe Ltd., and as EU QPPV at Sigma-tau. Additionally, Leona has provided consulting services in pharmacovigilance and medical affairs from 1999 to 2009 and held roles in medical affairs and drug safety at Sankyo Pharma UK and Janssen-Cilag. Leona holds an MSc in Pharmacology from the University of East London and a BSc in Pharmacy from Liverpool John Moores University.
