Akihiro Kikuchi

Akihiro Kikuchi is a seasoned professional in the field of underwriting and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Underwriter for Property Facultative at Munich Re since April 2017. With prior experience as a Senior Client Consultant at Munich Re Japan Service K.K., Kikuchi has a robust background in assessing and managing risk, having held positions as a Senior Property Underwriter and Property Underwriter at Swiss Re. In these roles, responsibilities included underwriting single risk property and energy accounts and conducting portfolio analysis across the APAC region. Earlier experience includes engineering underwriting at AIG, patent engineering at RYUKA IP Law Firm, and process engineering at JGC, where substantial international exposure was gained. Kikuchi holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hokkaido University.
