Anton Wessels

Anton Wessels is a seasoned professional in the life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors, currently serving as a Risk Consultant at Munich Re since September 2025. Prior to this role, Wessels worked at Ramboll from June 2015 to September 2025 as a Senior Consultant in Health Science & Product Safety, focusing on risk assessment and management related to chemicals. Wessels also held the position of GLP Study Director at Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing Munich from October 2012 to September 2014, where responsibilities included supervising GLP studies and analyzing results. Earlier career experiences include two postdoctoral research fellowships at GlaxoSmithKline and Edinburgh Napier University between May 2010 and May 2010. Wessels earned a PhD in Inhalation Toxicology from the Leibniz Research Institute for Environmental Medicine and a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Osnabruck.
