Lavanya Parthasarathi

Lavanya Parthasarathi is a seasoned insurance and reinsurance professional with extensive experience in property treaty underwriting. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Munich Re since August 2018, Lavanya has successfully led efforts in producing profitable treaty business while collaborating closely with client executives and senior underwriters. Prior roles at Swiss Re from April 2007 to August 2018 included various underwriting positions, where Lavanya focused on Canadian and Caribbean property treaty agreements and client relationship management. Earlier experience at GE/GENPACT involved catastrophe risk modeling for commercial insurance. Lavanya holds a Certificate in Insurance from the Insurance Institute of Canada, an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Bharathidasan Institute of Management, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Bangalore University.
