Lucas Beckmann

Lucas Beckmann possesses extensive experience in the insurance and underwriting field, currently serving as Chief Underwriting Officer Casualty for Lloyds, Bermuda, and Global Clients at Munich Re since July 2008. Beckmann has held multiple senior roles within Munich Re, including Chief Underwriting Officer Casualty for Munich Re Facultative & Corporate and Chief Underwriting Officer Non-Life Asia, Pacific & Africa. Prior to this, Beckmann served as Vice President Casualty at Swiss Re from September 2006 to June 2008 and held positions at GE Insurance Solutions and Gerling Allgemeine Versicherung AG, where the career began as a Casualty Underwriter Trainee. Educational background includes a Diplom in Betriebswirtschaft from the University of Cologne and a training degree from R+V Versicherungs AG.
