Marion Schmederer

Marion Schmederer currently holds the position of Head of Department Accounting Policy and Head of Section Reporting and Governance at Munich Re since April 2022. Prior to this role, Marion accumulated over a decade of experience at KPMG Deutschland, progressing from Associate to Senior Manager between February 2011 and April 2022. Marion earned a Diplom in Finanz- und Wirtschaftsmathematik from the Technical University of Munich, where studies spanned from October 2005 to October 2010, and also had an educational stint at Aarhus University from September 2008 to February 2009.
