Richard Fothergill is a seasoned IT executive with extensive experience in service management and digital transformation across prominent financial institutions. Currently serving as the Global Head of Service Management and CIO for the APAC region at Munich Re since June 2019, Fothergill oversees IT operations in eight countries and is responsible for implementing a global Service Management function. Prior to this, Fothergill held various leadership roles at UBS from December 2013 to May 2019, including Head of Automation and Global Head of IT Support Utility, where significant contributions to automation and production support were achieved. Fothergill's earlier career includes strategic roles at Barclays, where responsibilities encompassed global production operations and incident management, alongside positions in operations and implementation consulting at JPMorgan Chase, Chase Manhattan Bank, and Guardian Royal Exchange.
