Stefan Straub

Stefan Straub is an accomplished communication professional with extensive experience in media relations and public relations. Since March 2013, Stefan has served as the Head of Group Media Relations and Senior Spokesman at Munich Re (Group), focusing on key issues such as climate change, natural catastrophes, energy, cyber security, big data, autonomous vehicles, and e-mobility. Prior to this role, Stefan held various positions, including Spokesman and Issue Manager at MAN SE and MAN Truck & Bus AG, as well as PR-Manager and Spokesperson at Genossenschaftsverband Bayern e.V., overseeing a wide range of public relations activities. Stefan earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from the Technical University of Munich and a Master's degree in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, complemented by initial training as a Bankkaufmann at Bayerische Vereinsbank.
