Deborah Wood

Deborah Wood has extensive experience in recreation management and natural resource compliance. Currently serving as the Assistant Manager of Recreation for the Municipal District of Greenview No. 16 since April 2017, Deborah is responsible for outdoor recreation planning and operations, and collaborates on joint projects with Alberta Forestry and Parks. Prior to this role, Deborah was a Recreation Coordinator at Bear Scare Ltd. and a Wildlife Specialist for the Government of Alberta, with experience as a Park Ranger at various provincial parks from 2014 to 2016. Deborah holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Conservation Enforcement and a Diploma in Natural Resource Compliance from Lethbridge Polytechnic.
