Karen Ristau is a seasoned Fleet Manager with extensive experience in transportation safety management. Currently employed at Municipal District Services since April 2023, Karen previously held a position at H-E-B from February 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included leading a team focused on compliance with safety regulations and managing accident investigations. Prior roles include DOT Manager at Victory Packaging (August 2012 - November 2020), DOT Coordinator at Goodman Manufacturing (May 2007 - August 2012), and Transport Coordinator at AmeriGas Propane (September 2004 - April 2007). Academic achievements include a degree in Mathematics and Economics from Luther College and a credential in Effective Public Speaking from Rice University's Glasscock School of Continuing Studies.

MDS provides full-service management, operations, and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure of utility districts in the Houston area. Our approach to utilizing highly professional operations and maintenance procedures results in full compliance of water and wastewater systems through cost-effective means.
