Jérôme Plan has significant experience in journalism, media education, and documentary filmmaking. Currently serving as the Director at 99, a not-for-profit video platform that streams free short documentaries, Jérôme also holds positions as a Journalist in Residence at the Lyon Public Library and an Adjunct Professor of Journalism at Université Lumière Lyon 2. Additionally, Jérôme contributes to the preselection committees for the FIPADOC Festival International Documentaire and the Social Impact Media Awards. With a teaching background at ESJ PRO since 2011, Jérôme has educated around 500 students and journalists in video production. Previous experience includes roles as a journalist and video editor at Euronews, a reporter and cameraman at France Télévisions, and foreign correspondent positions at TF1 and AFP. Jérôme holds a Master's degree in Journalism from Ecole supérieure de journalisme de Lille and dual Bachelor's degrees in Geography from UCL and Université Toulouse - Jean Jaurès.
