Mary Meffe has a diverse work experience in the financial sector. Mary has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including Chief Financial Officer positions at MPAC, Planet Energy, and Just Energy. In these roles, they were responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, risk management, and communication of operating results to stakeholders. Mary also has experience as a Vice President of Finance and a Director of Finance and Administration. Additionally, they have worked in accounting firms such as Rosenberg Smith & Partners Chartered Accountants LLP and Wainman & Kydd. With their extensive experience, Mary Meffe has demonstrated expertise in finance and strategic guidance.

Mary Meffe CPA, CA, C.Dir. (she/her) obtained their CA designation from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 1999. In 1991, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Finance (BComm) at the University of Toronto. Later, in 2005, they pursued the Executive Program from Queen's University. To further enhance their skills in board governance and directorship, Mary completed their C.Dir. degree in Board of Directors, Governance from McMaster University between 2017 and 2018.
