Steven Liu

Steven Liu is a seasoned property valuation specialist with extensive experience in real estate investment and asset management. Currently employed at the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation since 2019, Steven focuses on assessing commercial and mixed-use properties in downtown Toronto. Prior to this role, Steven served as Fund Director at ARA Asset Management, managing a portfolio exceeding USD1.6 billion backed by CalPERS, and held prominent positions at Mapletree, overseeing substantial investments across various funds. Steven's earlier career includes significant contributions to W. P. Carey Inc., GE Capital as a risk manager, and Cushman & Wakefield, specializing in feasibility studies and appraisals. Educationally, Steven holds an MSc with Distinction in Property Appraisal and Management from Sheffield Hallam University, accredited by RICS.
