Marcelo Vieira

Marcelo Vieira has a diverse work experience in the securities industry. Marcelo has held positions at the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) and the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA). At MSRB, Marcelo served as a Senior Director of Research and Market Transparency, where they were responsible for monitoring and analyzing emerging trends in the municipal market. Marcelo also designed and produced various publications and reports on the financial market. At SIFMA, Marcelo held the role of Vice President of Industry Research and Director of Market Statistics. In these roles, they conducted research, monitored industry trends, and evaluated the implications of legislation and public policy developments on the securities industry. Marcelo also managed the collection and analysis of market data and directed projects in support of policy and legislative advocacy.

Marcelo Vieira attended the University of Maryland from 1996 to 2000, where they studied Finance, General. In 2019, they attended The Wharton School for a course on Business Analytics -- From Data to Insights with a focus on the field of Business.
