Josefina Frei Arriagada

Josefina Frei Arriagada is a professional currently working as a support specialist in the Department of Childhood and Adolescence at the Municipalidad de Renca since February 2022. Previously, Josefina served as an intern at the same municipality in late 2021, where responsibility included developing a methodology for implementing Community Prevention Tables against alcohol and drug consumption among children and adolescents, adapting the Icelandic model (Planet Youth) for the Chilean context. In addition, Josefina contributed to the Milenio Institute for Data Foundations in mid-2021 and founded UnaComuna, a project that supported eight community kitchens during the socio-economic crisis of the pandemic through a model of local circular economy. Josefina also assisted in teaching public policy at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile from 2017 to 2019, after completing a degree at the same university between 2016 and 2021.
