Robert MacIver

Robert Maciver has extensive work experience in the field of law and government. Robert began their career in 1999 as a Natural Resources Specialist at the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. In 2004, they transitioned to the private sector and worked as a Lawyer at Miller Thomson LLP until 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they served as an Assistant City Solicitor at the City of Markham. Robert then joined the Region of Peel as a Legal Counsel from 2008 to 2017. In 2017, they joined the Municipality of Clarington as the Director of Legislative Services and Municipal Solicitor, and later became the Deputy CAO/Solicitor in 2022.
