Vanessa Bilenduke-Guppy

Vanessa Bilenduke-Guppy serves as the Supervisor of Community Engagement and Events for the Municipality of Clarington since October 2020, having previously held the position of Community Development Coordinator. Prior experience includes roles at the Community Development Council Durham from June 2013 to October 2020, where responsibilities encompassed management of community services with a focus on diversity, poverty reduction, social determinants of health, food security, and sector collaboration. Vanessa has also coordinated youth strategies for the Niagara Workforce Planning Board and served on various committees promoting youth engagement and services. Earlier experience includes working with the Toronto Catholic District School Board to enhance summer programming for youth in high-need neighborhoods. Vanessa holds a BA in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Brock University and completed Leadership Niagara in 2012.
