Murray Steer

Murray Steer currently serves as the Manager of Roads for the Municipality of North Cowichan since September 2023. Prior to this role, Murray was the Road Manager at Mainroad Group from February 2022 to September 2023. Murray's experience includes serving as Section Manager for the City of Port Coquitlam and Superintendent of Public Works for the City of Powell River, where responsibilities included leadership in water, sewer, and roads, along with safety committee involvement. Murray also worked as a Civil Inspector for the Corporation of Delta and held multiple managerial positions at the City of Vancouver, including Manager of Equipment Services, Manager of Sewer Operations, and Maintenance Superintendent for Streets Operations. Murray's educational background is from the British Columbia Institute of Technology.
