Amir Harel Nuri has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Amir began their career as an Officer in the Israeli Air Force from 2003 to 2008. Amir then worked as a GIS Analyst at Ofek Aerial Photography from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they served as a GIS Project Manager at Netivei Israel from 2013 to 2015, where they were responsible for designing new systems and managing enterprise systems. From 2015 to 2016, they worked as a GIS Analyst and Python developer at Survey of Israel, where they developed scripts and implemented new features. Amir then joined Geoda as a Software Development Manager and Technical Product Manager from 2016 to 2019, where they managed teams and led software product development. Currently, they hold the position of CIO at the Municipality of Ramat-hasharon since 2019, overseeing IT management and organizational development.
Amir Harel Nuri has a Diploma of Education in Advanced Management Course for CIO from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, which they obtained in 2023. Amir also has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Management of Information Systems from Tel Aviv University, completed between 2015 and 2018. In addition, they hold a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations, General History, and GeoInformatics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, earned from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, in 2013 and 2014, they pursued System Analysts studies at John Bryce, specializing in Computer Software Engineering.
