Tancredi Botto

Tancredi Botto is the CEO of Muon Vision, a company that specializes in quench detection instrumentation. Tancredi has over fifteen years of experience in the field of research and development, with a focus on electromagnetic and nuclear-based technologies.

Botto began their career as a research scientist at Schlumberger, where they led the development of several advanced technologies for the oil and gas industry. These technologies included compact particle accelerators (X-ray sources), high-temperature power electronics, nuclear density borehole logging tools, and a novel geophysical imaging probe based on cosmic-rays.

In 2005, Botto left Schlumberger to start their own consulting firm, TEB Consulting, LLC. Through their consulting work, they have provided technical expertise to Commonwealth Fusion Systems and Muon Vision Inc.

Most recently, Botto has been working as a technical consultant for Commonwealth Fusion Systems. In this role, they have been responsible for quench detection instrumentation.

Tancredi Botto has a PhD in Physics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam). Tancredi also has a B.S. in Physics from Università degli Studi di Genova. Tancredi is certified from LinkedIn in The New Rules of Work.
