Pete Irons

Pete Irons is an experienced veterinary professional currently serving as the Veterinary Program Director and Associate Professor at Murdoch University since April 2016. Prior to this role, Pete held a distinguished position as Professor and Department Head at the University of Pretoria from January 1994 to March 2016. Additionally, from 2005 to 2015, Pete operated as a principal consultant specializing in animal reproduction with Veterinary Fertility Services. Pete's academic background includes a PhD in Veterinary Sciences/Veterinary Clinical Sciences from Utrecht University, a Master of Veterinary Medicine with a focus on Reproduction from the University of Pretoria, and a Bachelor of Veterinary Science, also from the University of Pretoria.
