Mark Ballard

Mark Ballard is an experienced petroleum engineer and production engineer with a robust history in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Production Engineer at Murfin Drilling Company, Inc. since July 2019, Mark Ballard manages over 200 wells with a focus on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing production and economic life. Previously, Mark Ballard worked at the Tertiary Oil Recovery Program as a Petroleum Engineer and Field Liaison, where project management and implementation were key responsibilities. Mark Ballard also has extensive entrepreneurial experience, having managed CyberServ and Data Tech Computer Services in the B2B computer sales and service sector. Earlier in their career, Mark Ballard worked as a Petroleum Engineer at Lancer Oil, Inc., overseeing project management and field operations. Mark Ballard holds an MBA in Business Statistics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a BS in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Kansas.
