Nicole Cordy

Nicole Cordy is a Chartered UK and European patent attorney with extensive experience in the technical fields of physics, mechanical, electronic, and computer-implemented inventions. Currently, Nicole serves as the Director of Patents at Murgitroyd since October 2021, where responsibilities include drafting and prosecuting patent applications for both large international corporations and individual inventors. Previously, Nicole held several positions at UDL Intellectual Property, including Head of Client Conflict and Senior Patent Attorney, and worked as a Senior Patent Attorney and Patent Attorney at Barker Brettell LLP. Early career experience includes a trainee patent attorney role and a summer studentship at the Midlands Ultracold Atom Research Centre. Nicole holds a Master’s Degree in Physics with Particle Physics and Cosmology from the University of Birmingham.
