Mckenzie Parkins serves as the Organizing and Advocacy Partnerships Manager at Murmuration, where the focus is on transforming political engagement to enhance educational opportunities for children in America. Prior experience includes roles such as Policy Fellow at YouthForce NOLA and Qualitative Research Intern at the Center for Applied Special Technology. Mckenzie coordinated the Youth Advisory Board for the Making Caring Common project at Harvard University Graduate School of Education and was the Lead Community Organizer for the Harvard Votes Challenge at the Harvard Kennedy School. Additional experiences encompass positions as a Policy Advocacy Fellow at Be Nola, Special Education Leader Fellow at the Special Education Leader Fellowship, and a Policy Analyst Summer Fellow for the New Orleans Police Department.
